WORD UP FESTIVAL

We had the best time ever at the Word Up Festival in Dulwich, London.  There were so many fun games and storytellers and food and music.... Auntie Raffi and Mumma had a stall and I saw lots of Mummas getting my jumpers... Hope they're not all gone, I need to wear them too!

The writers of some of my favourite books came and there were really fun workshops for children where they would read the story and talk about the books and we asked lots of questions and played...

The best ones for me were:

 MOOMIN

 PEEPO!

THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR

Some of the other friends we made:
Where's Wally?
OKIDO had a workshop where me and lots of other children painted funny animals from their magazine.  I LOVE Okido, it's my magazine now Mumma, you can have Vogue back now!
We bought Emma's book of Monty.  Mumma is going to read it tonight to me.  Can't wait!

Last thing... Puppa got happy that this writer came:
He says he is really funny and works in an office?

FRIEZE ART FAIR

Auntie Rafi took me to a park where there were lots of funny things called art.
I saw a small witch with a cape...

and a goblin having a rest....

and then I made some art too at the kids place.

Art actually means monsters and fish.

FAVOURITE BOOK OF THE MONTH

This book comes with a special plaster so I can be Nurse Elfie to my babies too.  We have been collecting the other Little Golden Books as there are lots and lots and are perfect for bedtime.  Everyone likes reading them to us as they have nice old pictures.  Goody!

SAATCHI GALLERY

Look how small we are next to these two giants!

Why are those people green?

MUMMA MUST-HAVE

Mumma really, really wants these shoes.  She says that they are even better then my sparkly trainers.  That's so silly!

ART CLASS

Last week we went to an art class at my local church.  We were shown how to make puppets of 'David and Goliath, the giant'.  It was so much fun.  I want to show you how we did it...

 The teacher's David and Goliath
At the church with all my friends, Mummas and teacher.

 1. Scrunch up newspaper in a ball and then cover with another paper and twist and then wrap sellotape to make the neck.
 2. Cover the head with tin foil and then with bandage pieces called 'Plaster of Paris'.  My Mumma helped me shape the nose and eyes.  This was a bit messy and fun and dried up really quickly.
 3. I painted the head and body which is actually a loo roll but Mumma did the eyes for me.
 Finished!
After the class the church gave us all a yummy dinner and they told us the story of my Giant Goliath.

V&A MUSEUM OF CHILDHOOD- MAGIC WORLDS

We went to a really good museum of old toys and clothes.  There was a show on of Magic Worlds with fairies, wizards, witches and magical creatures.  Some were a bit scary though!... There were also lots of other lovely things to look and play with.  The best was the indoor sandpit!... Then we had a yummy lunch in the middle of the big building and I promise it wasn't me who did all the mess...
